Free Arthritis and Joint Pain Seminar Presented by Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Steven Hand

Jameson Health System and Stryker Orthopaedics are sponsoring a free Arthritis Joint Pain Seminar on Thursday, August 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at Jameson Rehabilitation Center, 3410 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.

Orthopedic Surgeon, Steven Hand, D.O. will discuss new technologies in hip and knee replacement, surgical and non-surgical treatment options and the GetAroundKneeTM. Dr. Hand has gained a loyal patient following this past year working part-time at the Jameson Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Clinic while completing the Adult Reconstruction and Total Joints fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic. Joining Jameson Health System full-time in August, Dr. Hand is accepting all new patients at Jameson’s new luxury medical suite: Surgical Specialties at Nesbitt Place.

At the seminar, Dr. Hand will unveil a new total knee replacement procedure now being offered at Jameson Hospital: the GetAroundKneeTM. The GetAroundKneeTM System is designed to replace the knee’s naturally circular motion. Other knee systems follow an oval motion with different centers of rotation, where this system has a single-radius design. This means as the knee flexes, the radius stays the same, like a circle.

Registration is required for the free seminar and space is limited. Register for the seminar online at www.aboutstryker.com/Seminars or by calling 1.888.787.9537.
