The Pennsylvania Health Care Quality Alliance (PHCQA) is a nonprofit coalition of Pennsylvania health care providers and insurers. Its mission is to improve the quality of patient health by developing a consistent, uniform, statewide approach to hospital quality measures that will:
- Enable consumers to compare hospital performance
- Allow health care professionals to evaluate and improve the quality of their patient care
- Help insurers to evaluate the performance of their provider networks
