Pittsburgh Regional Science & Engineering Fair Seeks Volunteers

Pittsburgh Regional Science & Engineering Fair (PRSEF), March 28, 2014

This year’s Science Fair is currently recruiting volunteers  for the 75th PRSEF which connects nearly 1,100 students in grades 6-12 with our area’s scientists and engineers.  Mark your calendar for Friday, March 28, 2014!  The competition takes place at Heinz Field – Club Levels.

Judging Opportunities:

Affiliate Award Judges, 9a – 2p (need 20)

We are currently recruiting Affiliate Award Judges for Friday, March 28 from 9a – 2p at Heinz Field, Club Levels.  The Affiliate Awards are presented due to our affiliation with the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF).  A complete listing of awards can be found at http://www.scitechfestival.com/mainsf_judges_affil.asp.  All disciplines are welcome to judge.  Judges receive free lunch, limited free parking (subway stops at Heinz Field and it’s free from downtown) and a general admission pass to Carnegie Science Center.  Enjoy a rewarding experience that requires limited time. General Volunteers:

General Volunteers, 6:30a – 9:30a, 9:30a – 1:00p, 1p – 4:30p

Volunteers are needed as set-up assistants, inspectors, student guides, etc.  Visit http://www.scitechfestival.org/mainsf_volunteer.asp to learn more.  Volunteers receive a t-shirt, limited free parking (subway stops at Heinz Field and it’s free from downtown) and a complimentary pass to Carnegie Science Center.
