Presbyterian SeniorCare and its affiliates, the largest non-profit provider of senior living and care options in western Pennsylvania, recently announced that Brian Owens, Life Skills Partner at Presbyterian SeniorCare’s Woodside Place, has received the Direct Care Staff Award from the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA). Owens received the award for demonstrating outstanding person-centered care skills, effective communication techniques and creativity in his daily interactions at Woodside Place. Owens accepted the award on September 22 at the NADSA Conference held at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center.
The Presbyterian SeniorCare Board of Directors elected Peter McIlroy II as Board Chair. Roger Beck has been elected as Vice-Chair of the Presbyterian SeniorCare Board of Directors. Sandra Tomlinson and Jay Carson joined the Presbyterian SeniorCare Board of Directors.
